WAHS 46 News

Thanks for visiting the WAHS 46 News Page! The news is created by our own Austin High School students. They each write stories, put the script together, film the news, edit the news using iMovie, and then watch and critique the news every week. The students work hard to bring you the best and most recent news possible, and they also get to have a little fun as well! We appreciate the support of all of our viewers! If you are a student and would like to join the WAHS 46 family in the future, make sure to let a counselor know when you register for next year's classes, and they will get you an application.

In Recent News...

On September 9, 2016, WAHS 46 News began with a special tribute story, video, and interview in memory of 9/11, which occurred 15 years ago. Below is the news that began with that tribute.

AHS and AMS Pep Session for Gabe and Keeton

Also on September 9, 2016, Austin High School and Austin Middle School banded together to have a pep session after raising over $2200 to benefit Gabe and Keeton after their tragic accident. Family spoke, students from both schools sent their well-wishes, and students who made donations were put in jars to have their names drawn to get to throw pies in the administrators' faces! It was a great day! Below is video from the pep session.
