Greetings!  As a teacher at Austin High School I maintain this site as a tool to help educate my students, which is the most important thing.  Students can access assignments from home by the using the site.  

About me-- I love to teach and do the best I can to make sure that my students learn about history.  I think that John Kennedy said it best about how we should act toward others, "All of us do not have equal talents, but all of us should have an equal opportunity to develop our talents."  I work as hard as I can to make sure that I use teaching methods that are best suited to reach the students.

I went to Austin High School and graduated from here in 1998.  I received my Bachelor's in Social Sciences Secondary Education from the University of Southern Indiana in 2003.  I completed my Master's in Secondary Education from Indiana University Southeast in August of 2007.

Extracurricular Activities-- I am currently sponsoring the service club the Sons of Liberty, am the 2011 class sponsor, History Academic team coach, head boy's track coach, J.V. girl's basketball coach and organize the annual Veteran's Day Program.  I am also on the Scott County Chamber of Commerce Board of Director's and serve as the website coordinator.  I am also on the advisory board for Samaritan Behavioral Healthcare in Scottsburg.
