Greetings to all who found their way to my page! I have been an administrator at Austin High School since the beginning of 2014. After graduating from Austin High School in 1998, I went on to USI in Evansville where I graduated with a degree in Social Science Secondary Education in 2003. I finished my Master's in Secondary Education from IUS in 2007 and received my Administration License from there in 2010. I taught from 2003-2013 at Austin High School. Classes I taught were U.S. History, World History, and Psychology. I also coached Boys' Golf, Boys' Track, JV Girls' Basketball, Academic History Bowl, Sponsored class of 2011, sponsored the Sons of Liberty, and organized our annual Veteran's Day Program during those years. I was the Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Austin for 1 1/2 years before taking on the principal's position in January 2016.
I believe John F. Kennedy said it best in regards to education....“All of us do not have equal talent, but all of us should have an equal opportunity to develop our talents.”
As an Administrator here at Austin High School I am working to ensure that all students have an equal opportunity! I am so excited for the opportunities afforded to our students through a well-trained and caring staff and technology that is second to none.
