The Indiana Academic Standards for Algebra I consist of five domains: Number Systems,Expressions, and Functions; Linear Equations, Inequalities, and Functions; Systems of LinearEquations and Inequalities; Quadratic and Exponential Equations and Functions; and DataAnalysis & Statistics. The skills listed in each domain indicate what students should know andbe able to do by the end of the course. The Process Standards demonstrate the ways in whichstudents should develop conceptual understanding of mathematical content, and the ways inwhich students should synthesize and apply mathematical skills.
